We Believe...

In one Creator God, who reveals Himself as Father, Son and Spirit.

In the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ.

The Bible is the inspired and relevant Word of God and applicable to the 21st Century.

All people have sinned and need God’s grace and forgiveness which is free and available to all through Jesus’ death on the cross.

God draws us to Himself through His grace, but the decision to respond is ours.

An individual must confess their sins, repent and trust Christ to receive forgiveness and eternal life.

As Christians there is still a struggle between self-will and God’s will and there is a point in our spiritual walk where we need to offer our whole lives to God (the biblical word for this is sanctification).

When we give ourselves to God in this way, His Spirit can fully mold us into Christ-likeness; His perfect love is reflected in our attitudes and actions; and God empowers us to live more abundantly.

The church is the Body of Christ carrying on His purposes in the world.

God can bring healing to any area of need a person may have.

In God’s appointed time Jesus Christ will come again.

Our Mission is to glorify God, empower the Christian & reach our world for Christ

Our purpose is based on 5 core values

Prayer

Foundational! God hears and answers prayer, and nothing is impossible with God. (Philippians 4:6)

Great Commandment

The Old Testament and Jesus taught us to love God with ALL. When we love God with all it effects ALL of life! We are not only worshipping God on Sunday, worship is a daily devoted life to God in ALL our activities through the day. Everything we do is done in the frame work of loving God first and everything else will fall in place. (Mark 12:30)

Great Commission

Our theme for the Church is “One on One.” We desire to be One on One with God and One on One with others. One on One with others is all about the Great Commission. People are looking for a new start, forgiveness and love and Jesus provides all this and more, but we must let people know! (Matthew 28: 18-20)

Compassionate Ministries

Jesus said: “as you have done it to one of the least of these you have done it unto Me.” Grace Church desires to help those in need. We desire to be the arms of Christ reaching out to our world with the ministry of compassion. (Matthew 25: 31-46)

Community:

Connection * Friendship * Laughter * Love * Caring (Acts 2:42)
